GBC Gains Prominent Mention in Magazine Cover Story on O'Malley The Greater Baltimore Committee and the Presidents' Roundtable gained prominent mention in a cover story on Mayor Martin O'Malley in the April edition of Governing magazine. The article, entitled "Restless for Results" by Christopher Swope, contains a section on O'Malley's request last year for the GBC-Presidents' Roundtable to conduct management and efficiency studies of five city agencies. The article notes that O'Malley "swiped a chapter from Ed Rendell, the former mayor of Philadelphia," in asking for help from business leaders. The article focuses heavily on Mayor O'Malley's "Citistat" operation that tracks performance and outcomes of city agencies. GBC Web Link: News Watch section of www.gbc.org.
