Interested in seeing the pros play up close?

Join the GBC’s team of volunteers at the 2005 Constellation Energy Classic golf tournament. The tournament, which is part of the PGA Champions Tour, will be played September 12 – 18, 2005 at the Hayfields Country Club in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

The GBC is seeking volunteer marshals to work as part of a team managing one of the holes on the course. Responsibilities include assisting the players, crowd management, promoting physical safety and enjoyment at the tournament, and locating and protecting bad shots.

The PGA Champions Tour includes 78 professionals. Featured players include: Tom Watson, Hale Irwin, Peter Jacobsen, Tom Kite, Craig Stadler, Ben Crenshaw, Larry Nelson, and Lanny Wadkins. The format will be 54 holes - stroke play and the event will be covered on The Golf Channel.

Volunteers are needed for six-hour shifts between September 14 – 18. Preference is given to volunteers who can work three shifts.
