Remote sensing and aerial mapping company joins TU’s international business incubator
Global Imaging Technologies (GIT), an international remote sensing and aerial mapping business, has joined TowsonGlobal, Towson University’s global business incubator, as an associate member.
Governments at all levels and online map providers from around the world are GIT’s largest sources of contracts. The general public is expected to drive significant demand for GIT’s services as emerging technologies are constantly changing.
GIT provides services such as aerial survey system development and integration, digital aerial acquisition with the use of digital aerial mapping cameras, satellite and aerial image processing, and mapping project management. GIT also has successfully developed two imaging systems that are being sold or leased internationally. The company’s focus on providing technologies in the global marketplace complements TowsonGlobal's mission to help early-stage companies learn how to compete in the global market.

As an associate member, GIT will maintain its own offices but will avail itself of TowsonGlobal's guidance on fine-tuning its business plan, mentoring and networking assistance, suggestions on sources of capital, information on foreign marketing and sales, and more.
